Amanda and Eli | Santa Barbara, CA

I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph Amanda and Eli in Santa Barbara’s Funk Zone last month. I love being able to capture couples’ joy in photos. This shoot in Santa Barbara’s Funk Zone was extra fun with a Vespa scooter!

Last month I had the chance to shoot Amanda and Eli in Santa Barbara featuring this adorable green scooter! The Spanish-style house in the background showcases the city’s roots beautifully and the lighting was perfect for this shoot. We were so lucky to have amazing lighting and gorgeous fall colors in the flowers and foliage for this shoot.

Eli and Amanda chose the best outfits for this shoot too! Eli’s fun 70s style dress shirt complemented the retro vibe of the scooter perfectly. Amanda chose a flowy bohemian-style white dress, which was a perfect choice for the California fall day and a Santa Barbara spot, and her sheer moon-and-stars dress looks absolutely stunning in black and white and color!

Eli and Amanda met at a boat party on the fourth of July when Eli worked at a Santa Barbara harbor and recently celebrated their 5 year anniversary! I had the pleasure of photographing Amanda and Eli back in August 2020 and they are a wonderful couple. Eli proposed to Amanda on the beaches of San Diego a year ago with a beautiful ring and they plan to tie the knot in August 2022. I have no doubt that it will be a beautiful wedding for this bride and groom.
